Head of the Economic Crime and Criminal Law Practice for Company Protection / Advocate
- Advocate/Head of the Economic Crime and Criminal Law Protection of Companies Practice in the Criminal Law and Compliance Department.
- In his professional activity, he focuses on substantive criminal law, and in particular economic criminal law and criminal procedure. He has many years of experience in dispute resolution and court and arbitration proceedings.
- In his professional practice, he mainly defends clients in criminal cases involving white-collar crime. He participates in many multi-threaded and complex cases involving tax carousel frauds, Ponzi schemes, money laundering, fraud, and other property crimes. In addition, he has extensive experience in criminal mismanagement trials. In these trials, he both defended managers and represented companies harmed by their managers’ crimes.
- He has professional skills in securing the broadly defined interests of companies in within the framework of the above-mentioned proceedings, with particular emphasis on corporate and property interests, e.g. blocking bank accounts or searching for and securing assets that could be used to redress damage inflicted on companies. He also runs cases related to capital markets and trading in financial instruments. He took part in proceedings before the Polish Financial Supervision Authority.
- He has been cooperating with the Kopeć Zaborowski Law Firm since 2019. Previously, he gained professional experience at the Verification Department of the 2nd Masovian Tax Office in Warsaw. Then, he improved his professional practice as a judge’s assistant at the District Court for Warsaw Mokotów and in law firms, where he mainly dealt with economic crime law.
- He graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin and then completed legal training as a candidate attorney.
- He has been licensed as an attorney-at-law since 2017. He is a member of the Bar Association in Warsaw.
