Monika Orczykowska
Head of the Criminal Law and Compliance Department / Advocate
- Advocate/Head of the Criminal Law and Compliance Department.
- She specializes in criminal law, in particular economic and tax crime. She participated in extensive and complex proceedings regarding the so-called manager crime. As part of such proceedings, she both defended managers and represented injured companies. She represents individual and institutional clients at every stage of proceedings, including before law enforcement authorities.
- She started her professional career as a law student. Initially, she provided legal advice at the University Law Advice Centre. Then she improved her professional skills by working for renowned law firms in Wrocław and Warsaw.
- She graduated from of the Faculty of Law, Administration, and Economics of the University of Wrocław. She was granted multiple chancellor’s scholarships for excellent academic achievements.
- She completed Postgraduate Studies in Tax and Economic Criminal Law at the Jagiellonian University. Additionally, she completed Postgraduate Tax Studies at the Warsaw School of Economics. She completed numerous managerial and team management training courses (including the First Time Manager Program organized by Game Changers Academy Poland or Legal Project Training organized by the Trainers’ Academy of Competencies).
- She id a member of the European Criminal Bar Association.
- She is a member of the Bar Association in Warsaw.
- She actively participates in pro bono activities. In 2020 – 2023, on behalf of KKZ, she coordinated cooperation with the Dorastaj z Nami Foundation, an organization actively supported by our law firm.
